My dad has been wanting to go to ivey crappie fish. Can anybody tell where to start looking. He always uses minnows, been there a bunch bass fishing but never crappie fishing.

Well I was just there and with the moon and influx of fresh water they are scattered right now and really not bitting. In 6 hours of fishing last friday we managed 6 under 10 inches a small blue cat and a large white bass. I would stat in the river channel and head towards the dam. Fish the trees and keep moving. If they are not there then try yellow/chalk bluff there is some brush and trees close to the bank it goes from 8 feet to 20 feet real quick. Hope this helps.
