well boys it was fun once again this year, sounds like the championship is already wrapped up, so i don't think tractor trailer Thaler and I are going to make it. Good luck to all, well almost everybody. see ya'll next spring.

Yea me and my partner are out as well! Only made one tourney this year and planned on fishing it, but since have learned that these impressively cocky anglers that have fished all year with their cages are a sure fire win and dont really have the money to donate rite now(LMAO what a joke)! But did have fun the one tourney we did fish and most of you seemed like a great bunch of guys and look forward to next year!

As for the championship, if it rains like they are calling for it will make it very interesting. The lake might fill up over the weekend, its off limits from Sunday the 11th at midnight till the tournament... the fish could change alot in a weeks time with new water in the lake. IMO anyone could win this deal.

I havent fished since August 19th, a few scouts told me the river is dead, the main lake is always dead to me. If we get the rain we are supposed to, it will be so muddy up there i will have to put some 35's on the old Champion just to get there.
How many has committed to this so far?

We wont have a head count until the morning of the tournament, Id like to see 35 boats... Your river will be in good shape, atleast I would hope it would clear up a little in a weeks time! I dont know who your scouts are, they must be throwing chicken liver or something not to catch em up there right now....

ok I am sorry I am confident and cocky, but the good news to all of you if my boat is DEAD, no pressure in the 6th piston chamber and the cylnder wall is damaged real bad, also the number 4 piston is at half pressure. its gonna cost me 4K to fix it. So if you were not gonna fish it b/c of me, rest easy I wont be there.
oh just had a idea, does anyone know where i can rent a boat for the tourny?
