I would look for a spot that you can cover 5 to 15 feet
with 4 to 6 rods out. 2oz sinkers , big kahle hook,
don't let them run , set the hook quick to avoid deephooking.

Be fishing by 6:15.

Approach your spot quietly.

If your not getting bit every 15 minutes or so, you are
not in the right spot.

I launched my 22' center console. It's a little sketchy at first, but if you stay in the center, it's no big deal. I have been on worse ramps for sure.

What ramp did you launch from J.V.? I am getting a little confused by the conflicting reports on the 2 current threads about being able to launch on this lake. I was hoping to take my dear old Dad down there next weekend for a litle bass fishing.

The farthest one from the entrance to the state park. It is low and a little tricky.

Thanks - we made it out there yesterday - but didnt catch anything. Nevertheless, FF is on my radar and will continue to learn and work the lake.
