Are you talking about trailer hooks or what you put on the hook?

I like the Gamakatsu 2/0 trailer with white, red/chartreuse, or chartreuse Mister Twister grub.

A 3 in. curly tail grub threaded only half way up the hook shank or placed on a trailer hook.Pearlywhite, white, yellow, and charttreuse go with just about any color skirt out there. They have great action and their cheap.

Sorry, I didn't clarify. Was looking for what plastic you put on the hook!

I like the perfect skirts from Strike King.. The ones with the skirt as part of the trailer.

I like (liked) the old hard split tail trailers that came in the package with the Hank Parker Classic Spinnerbaits. Wish I could find them somewhere. They used to sell just the trailers. They was as hard as a tire but the tails had good action. Very rarely tore them up.
