Call me crazy but we fished over there this morning before the yahoos woke up.. Ended up with about 20 keepers with several nice fish while fishing timber in 8-15' water. I'm offering Lewisville on my weekday evening trips if anyone is interested.

Sounds good, Jerry and nice fish. I hear ya about the "yahoos".

Believe me, it's just not the July 4th holiday, but all weekends during the Summer, or until around Labor Day. By that time, all the kiddies (including those of the college variety) have to come back down to reality and school. Also, all the water jockeys (skiers, wake-boarders, and jet-skiers) have to slowly start putting their toys away until next Summer.

Nice job findin' em!

I went catfishing yesterday from about 430am till 10:30. Counted about 60-70 plus boats all along the dam fishing for sandbass. Totally blocking the prime skiing area. Didn't do too hot for blues fishing shallow points and drifting main lake humps after that. Should have went north and chased the crappie instead.

I was wondering how much you charge for an afternoon trip on Lewisville? I have never fished Lewisville. I heard there wasn't any crappie in that lake, to many sand bass and catfish. I don't know why a guy would even want to try to guide on that lake. To many skiers! Is there a number I can reach you at to try to book a trip?

C'mon Paul, who would wanna fish Ray Bob or Lavon, when you can fish Lewisville instead?

Fishing in and near skiers, jet skiers, and plain drunk folks is what make for a great fishing trip!
That's what makes Lewisville and Grapevine just that much more attractive for summer-time fishin'.
