 Spring Tourney Dates at Lake Tyler

If you know of dates planned for tourneys on Lake Tyler this spring could you post them up here. I have been talked into putting on a tourney this spring as a outreach/fundraiser/community event for the Yesteryear organization of the city of Whitehouse.
I hope to book a date during late March or April, which I know is a busy time but hey if your going to do one, why not make a good one.
My next call is to the marina obviously but I figure no one knows better than this board does.
So if you know of dates then please post them.

I know the tourney schedule is hectic, I fish in most of them, I just wanted a head start on dates if the info. is out there. This is not my first rodeo and I have been on the lake for many years... but before I start planning I need a solid date so any help is appreciated. In other news, if you live in Whitehouse and want to help the community in which you live, I am taking applications  for tourney volunteers. My goal is to include some type of kid fish maybe from 12 to 2 at the marina, lunch and maybe some musical entertainment while we wait for the weigh in and prizes. BTW, still plenty of fish in Lake Tyler.

We are waiting on confirmation from the marina on our dates on Lake Tyler.

I think some kind of deal where a volunteer takes a kid out in the boat lets them fish for a while and then have a weight in would be cool. Im in Tyler, but if there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

For the last couple years the 2nd weekend in March has been open. But you can probably count on the East Texas Open around the 3rd weekend or so. With the Eye Care Associates Tourney not happening anymore there is still an open weekend in March. Good Luck

Mark got the call back from the marina and so far your the only thing on the calendar. I'm thinking middle of March or firt weekend in April, to stay clear of the Open.
