Never have, but my son-in-law and daughter live in Killeen and they have wanted me to come down to take them fishing. Tought I would go to Belton or another in the area.

I'm a member of the Bell County Sportsmans Club. We have a private dock in MPR. The bite there comes and goes. Been pretty good of late. It'll slow down pretty soon though as the rest of the fish move into shallow water....

I myself did not go fishing this weekend I decided to work on my pontoon, My son and I spent nice warm calm day putting a new floor and paint job on the old tub. Man that liked to have killed my son and I. But that was the only time we could do it..

Some friends of mine went out Sunday and caught 17 keeper crappie they hit every cove the lake, even up in the river....they said they really had to work for them...caught them all on 1/16th oz jigs I was out on granger lake Saturday but only for 20 minutes my son had to try out a new prop Well good luck to you this season......2gray
