My preference is a little bit of drizzle with an overcast sky.

Varners Tourny this year was in a downpour for the whole time. We caught plenty of fish but it was awfully wet!

I would rather have the sun, but wont let light rain keep me from fishing. If its cold and raining, I have alot of pain from a motorcycle wreck, so I may sit out on those days.

Ideal fishing conditions for me are low pressure, lots of clouds/fog, water temps in the 50's, air temps in the 40's, winds between 5 and 15 mph and rain/sleet/snow mix. Three things you don't have to worry about, pleasure boaters, jet skiers and boat shows rock

I was going to hit the lake today but the kids are all sick and i have to travel next week. If i could have taken a coule of the kids I could have gone under the guise of spending time with the kids and giving the sife a break from them but to go out alone and leave them all couped up in the house today would not end very well.

I love fishing in light rain like today.

Light drizzle, overcast, preferrably just before a front. Rain hurts when your running. crazy

Invest in a mask, I use it when it rains and during the winter to keep my face from being wind/cold burnt thumb

Sun, light breeze, not too hot, not too cold. While those conditions almost never happen -- that's what I prefer.

Otherwise it's whenever I feel well enough to go out.

I don't care what it's like outside. I work in it all I can fish in it all too.
