Hey guys I am looking at hiring a private charter out of Port A sometime this fall. I have looked into a few for 24hrs and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. The one I am considering is Ambush outta Port A. Help me out guys

Are you either retired or active Military?? If so, there is another route to go for offshore fishing.

How far does a 24 hr charter go out and what do they do that one couldn't do on a full day offshore charter??

My girlfriend is actually a disabled veteran. The reason for a 24hr trip is for the time you actually have fishing.

Anyone have good recommendations for a private charter out of Port A?

I would imagine that the right trip to the right places would have me all the fishing I might need in an all day charter (this depends on what all day means I guess). I am 60 years old and in a 24 hour period I need some horizontal resting time. What does a private 24 hour charter cost??

Why don't you go and get on the OCHO TUNA Charter?? They had a few spaces open.

Ambush will do fine, and you can't go wrong with the Caliente, Captain John has proven himself beyond any doubt.
Suggest you talk to the captains of the charters that interest you and make sure they understand your preferred fish species, styles of fishing, what you hope to accomplish, etc on this type of trip.
Each captain has certain fishing he excels at, and a great captain for fishing one way may not be as good as another for your fish wish, even Captain John B.

Thanks guys the information, I am trying to decide really which one of the two out of Ambush and Caliente I wanna go with now LOL. As far as the TFF tuna trip goes I really wanna just do a private charter with my girlfriend. I will definately participate in one of the future tuna trips though they sound like a blast. Thanks for the advice TOO that gives me some questions to ask the captains.
