I will go with what bert says, Ande solar green.
Limp, very castable but strong.

I just spooled up a couple of my reels with Stren Hi-Vis braid in 4/14. Excellent casting and 0 memory. Have not used it long enough to form a full opinion, but looks good so far.

Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis hands down after this weekend. I've always been a green line user because of perceived line shyness. That Hi-Vis stuff is easy to see and didn't seem to bother the fish. laugh

Lord.....Please forgive me for what I am about to do to your crappie......AMEN

I like Trilene XL flo clear blue and clear. the blue is almost as visible and Mr Crappie Hi-vis in certain light situations. As far as price/value..... Mr Crappie is hard to beat and very castable.

Wally Marshall sent me and e-mail telling me he really appreciated the positive comments about his line.

Thanks for using it.

I've been using Wally Marshall's HI-VIS 4# for casting over grass, and his 6# for fishing brush.
Sound like I might want to switch to W. Marshall 6# Line for all around use.

I thought the 4# would be better to shoot docks with, to get under the dock futher.

The 6# will shoot waaay under the docks with no problem...and I am shooting with fairly narrow spools. If you find a micro-spinning reel with a wide spool, then you could shoot even further.

With the 6# line, I can shoot completely under virtually every dock.

2 of my rigs are the Walmart Shakespeare Micro Spins. They are only $19.99 for the rod/reel combo.
1 of my rigs is the Ugly Stick rod/reel combo. Got it at Academy for $29.99.

I don't want to invest a lot of money in these rigs, because my clients are using them sometimes. If it breaks...I'm not out a lot of money.

Plus, we have pulled hundreds of crappie out of Cedar Creek with them this year...so they work great laugh laugh
