Was hoping someone w/good guide suggestions might answer, as I have not used a guide in that area. Green Hornet guide service has been around for quite some time, and I've heard a lot of good stuff about them. Husband/wife team each w/thier own boats. Should be a website, if not try Chamber of Comm. Specks & reds, maybe flounder can be caught in Dec. Probably not the best time of yr., but anytime is the right time to go fishing. Temps generally range from low 40's to mid 70's. Seems to be fewer windy days doring the Fall/Winter season.

Dean Monroe at www.deanfish.com he will always find the fish when no one else can. if you want to wade fish then Jay Watkins, Jr. His dad is a legend down there but I prefer fishing with Jay Ray. Allen Vooght at Tackle Town is good also for wade fishing. Mike Patterson is someone my dad has used with great success and he has a tournment partner that they have taken out also. Hope that helps.
Keep a tight line!

Fished with a real good guide when I'm down there. Jack Culberson at 4 ALARM FISH. He will fish any way that you want. Bait, Lures, Wade or Drift. I have always caught fish with him.

Like someone else mentioned, it all depends on what type of fishing you want to do. Jay Ray is probably the best when it comes to wade fishing and also just fishing from a bay boat, no doubt, but good luck booking a trip with him. If you have never been out on an air boat and love to catch big reds, and lots of them. Capt. Mike Collins out of rockport/fulton area is awsome. He is a personal friend and have know him for quite some time. You can search him on the web and videos on youtube. Most likely you would leave from goose island state park and the fun would start from there. He is a fun guide, unlike most, and will put you on some very large fish. But, try to book asap as he books up fast as well.
WATCH OUT FOR THE J.T. HOOKSET!!!
