I got my first yak about a year and a half ago and have been fishing Ray Hubbard pretty regularly since. I am getting tired of the PB traffic, particularly jet skis, and am thinking about shifting north to Lavon. I live in NE Dallas, so those are the shortest drives. Could anyone recommend good launch points on LL?
I prefer to fish crappie, but I'll chase catfish, bass, or pretty much anything else that will bite.
Thanks!

you ever put in at paddle point park or off of 66. The power boat traffic is almost non existant in that part of the lake.

Yes to both, there is a lot of structure to hold fish from paddle point north and the stumps do slow the traffic. I have had some success jigging the bridge pilings and timber out from paddle point and it is convenient If you see a guy in a light green wilderness systems pungo around there, it is probably me.

Mallard park has a boat ramp and beach to launch from and it's in a nice cove that holds crappie.I think it's like $3 to launch though. There's no attendant, just a box and envelopes which they do check.I had a nice note on my windshield once because I didn't see the box at the entrance.Real good fishin in there during spawn time.Hope that helps a little.I've been going to Paddle Point a bit myself.(Sand colored hobie and tan redfish.)

What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!
