haven't tried Hubbard yet and I live 2 mins from the lake. With the weather were having this week the weekend looks like a good time to give it a try. If I were going to fish right now I'd be fishing the north end by the Golf coarse around the cattails, coves. Good Luck and gives us a report.

Let me know how you did. I live 10 minutes from the lake. Never have caught much out of hubbard. One of these days I'll learn how to fish right.

Mr.Float Tube did you end up fishing the North end of the lake? The boat ramp at 66 and Rockwall is also a good place to fish. We've fished the cattails with good results this time of year. Congrats on the catch.

Try at the hwy.66 bridge, and use minnows or jigs, this is @ the boat dock.

Good Luck
Mike

I will not tell you the exact creek I was in but it was in Rowlett. It is a small creek about 100 yards long befor it hits the lake. all fish were caught on 1/8oz. marabu jig. The color was red head chartrus body and white tail. The lake is still about 18" low. I would think that any creek that is at least 3-4 feet deep would hold fish.

Anyone catching any crappies on the Hubbard fishing piers lately? I was thinking about taking my kids to one of them this weekend.
