Bite slow again today...saw Earnest...he was taking is boat back to Dr. BassPro. Still wondering about the low pressure and/or fronts as it pertains to our slip fishing...Just read a thread from a guide on here...Omar...that says when the wind blows hard, i.e. front moving in...they head to the nearest deep water...if correct, that would explain why the bite seems very slow in our slip in heavy wind...they aren't there, lol. It does seem like when the pressure is low, the only ones I have caught have been on the very bottom. Maybe just a handful hanging around.
Brian, we need to take your boat to Cedar Creek (unless we can con Earnest and Guy into it)These threads of catching OVER 2 pound crappie are killing me. We can probably use a friend of mines lakehouse there....not sure, would have to ask.
We say grace and we say maaam, and if you aren't into that we don't give a damn

We need to do that like the end of march when the spawning action starts and we can get those huge females. I think they also have some nice black crappie in Cedar Crek too! I am definatly going to go fishing about 430 or so today. Anybody think Im nuts??

Good luck it has been really slow at nights for me lately. Maybe the cold front will help.
