Garbage fish...bottom feeder....boney...only good for fertilizing your plants!! My dad always dug a hole by a tree and berried them to fertilize the soil...Great in the rose garden also!!!

Gotcha...So like now I am wondering what that couple did with all of those huge fish? I mean the fish one I saw them pull out had to be at least 10 pounds. I guess to each his or her own. I'm not into wasting fish so I think I'll take it to my dads garden.

After you bake it at 400F for about 20 min. Toss the fish and eat the cooking sheet!

Taking fish and not using them for food or bait is wasting fish according to the TPWD. If you need fertilizer go to home depot. Carp and Drum are both edible according to TPWD so you must utilize them and not waste them. Not knowing what you are catching and keeping it could land you in serious trouble if you keep the wrong fish. The booklet they give out with fishing licenses has all the rules and fish and size limits. Ignorance of the law is no excuse to a game warden
