had an inline fuse for my 12v trolling motorthat wassubmerged in water and burnt up. need to replace it to fix trolling motor but haveno clue where to start. what kind of fuse and how do I do it???? please help.

ok, its a breaker on the red wire by the battery that burnt up.

Look and see if you can tell what amperage it is and go to your nearest autoparts store and get a replacement.

Most T/M breakers are 50 Amp you can get them at most Marine dealers and BPS/

I think he said inline fuse...like mine. I think mine is a 20 amp...maybe more. Start with that...and work your way up, but no higher than 50. My guess is 20-30 Amps.

Yes!
If you're talking about the black or grey square plastic device with a little re-set button on it, with two screw posts attached.
They make these in various volt and amp rating configurations.
