I went fishing off of Westheimer Pkwy. yesterday at Buffalo Bayou. I saw a lady and her her husband catching quite a few of these fish. Later that day I hooked into a smaller version of the same fish. Its the big one in the pic. Any help would be gladly appreciated.http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.editAlbumPhoto&albumID=6161&imageID=68990747

Is there a way to post the pic right into the message board without using a link?

But the mouth is horizontal and not on the bottom. Are you sure @ rubberducky?

A carps mouth is pretty horizontal (terminal)

A Buffalos mouth however faces down. (sub-terminal)

Ah so it is a Carp. Thanks for the help guys. All I know is that when I caught it most of the people there said that it was a keeper. So I kept it. One last question though...Is it good eating?
