If most of the ones who complained showed up every week, paid and fished hard, like we (and others) did, then they would be "ringers" too. We left empty handed more often than not. We showed up for weigh in when we had little or nothing to weigh and stuck around to give a hand for those who figured it out that night. But we never quit, when it was windy, when it was hot, when we knew we weren't on fish we still showed up, paid our money and fished. I've only been on the lake 4 or 5 times this year other than the tournaments and once I was crappie fishing. We aren't even close to ringers. But we will give our best effort and hope for a little luck in the championship. I'm just glad Cal and Wolf started late or we would have had one more team ahead of us.

I spoke with Ivan and Andi at Talon lures today, they are in the process of putting together a shipment of baits for the championship!

Guys this is the exact same payout as the championship last year. Everyone seemed to like it that way so it will stay. This is the big one for the year and it will pay good to those who catch them.

I would guess that they would round up. 30 entries would pay 5 places instead of 6. Not to different if you think about it, unless you finish 6th.

Heres a run down of what we have so far....

Talon Custom Lures has donated a HUGE lot of baits. We have everything from the new and improved 5/8oz football head jigs, to grass jigs, flipping jigs, Talon light super stainless spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, lipstickers, a few Shibui spinnerbaits to be raffled off as well as a Big Dandy Lake Fork spoon for the raffle. You can check out all of these baits at Talons website. http://talonlures.com/ Ivan and Andi have been generous enough to sponsor the Lake Worth Workingmans this year, yall make sure and give them a big thanks when you see them on the forum or the next time you place an order.

I did get a chance to talk with Chad, and I have good news. Ezee Jiggs has agreed to donate one Ezee Vibe for each boat entered in the championship. You can check them out here... http://www.vendio.com/stores/EzeeJigs/ Chad makes a great product, and I assure you his Ezee Vibe is far superior to the others you have seen or used.

Scott Clawson with Anglers Edge Tackle has donated some Phoenix Blaze Rods to the raffle. You can check out all of his great products here.. http://www.anglersedgetackle.com/

Thats what I have so far, there are still a few more things in the works. We are busting out tails to try and make this a really good championship for all of our Lake Worth anglers!
