If you have mastered bass fishing 101 and are in the advanced stages of the sport, please share some tips that will help others catch more fish. If a person fishes any particular lure long enough, he normally discovers new ways to make it more effective. Subtle changes in working a lure, making a presentation, rigging a lure, and other things are often the difference between catching fish and going home saying "they weren't biting today." Any tips on things you've discovered would be interesting and appreciated.

That's a big request. Any special areas of concern?

The intent was to share little things we've somehow learned that have helped us catch more fish. Here is an example: When you tie a Polamar knot the tag end will point back away from the lure and catch grass. So, when you use a Polamar knot, tie an additional overhand knot before you clip off the tag end and it will point back toward the lure, being less likely to catch on grass.
