Falcon Lake, Labor Day 07, 50 plus fish over 4 lbs, best 5 weighed 45lbs. Also had some days on Amistad before the Bassmasters got there where me and my friends caught around 50 or so fish per day with best 5 around 40lbs.

It still is real good except when it's real hot. Usually anythign under 30 for 3 person's isn't considered a good trip. Usually close to a 3# average also.

Best Day had nothing to do with large numbers for me - my wife and I were on vacation at Amistad about 4 years ago and on back to back casts she and I caught 2 over 10's -

Several 100+ days on Squaw Creek and that's without even trying all football size. Oh the good ole days.

A buddy and I caught 27 good keepers between 2-5 pounds each on LAVON 2 years ago in a 4 hour span. Four 4-pounders on 4 consecutive casts at the same brush-pile added to the sweetness...honest injun!

I believe the year was 1995, around May 3(Cold enough for Coveralls). It was the year all the Tornado's came through in the Spring. We had a Honey Hole tournament on Cedar Creek. I wound up staying at home on Friday night with my family due to a major Funnel Cloud coming from Waxahachie towards Crandall(actually went over us). My partner had my boat and went on down to the lake with his wife to stay at Sunny Glen. I was also coaching Baseball at the time and our Friday game was cancelled and moved to Sat. afternoon. We prefished until about 1:00 Sat. Literally shaking off some 300+ fish on C-Rigs. I actually had to cut our hooks to keep from hooking fish that wouldn't let go. Every point we pulled onto we got multiple bites. I had to leave for the rescheduled game and got to Crandall and it was cancelled again(knew it would be). Headed back to the lake and my partner had fished from the bank at Sunny Glen and one Straighten a Gamakatsu hook. They were gone to eat, so I got the boat out and went to points I had never fished before for about an hour. I shook off probably another 25+ fish. And, this was a very short day of fishing, due to me having to get back to Crandall. I have told my son many times that I fish with now, that it was the most unbelieveable events numbers wise that I can ever remember on a Non-Fork lake.

On Sunday tournament day, we caught probably 100+ fish. 75% were keepers. We wound up with 16#+ and finished about 6th. It is probably my most memorable Fishing Trip/Tournament. I spent more time that day checking and culling fish than fishing. It was absolutely a blast. I would have thought I was on Fork in the early days.

One day on Ray Roberts caught more than 80 fish, all were good slot fish. The really amazing thing was they were all caught on the same one worm. Kept tearing off a little of the worm as it got torn up pretty good. Kept getting shorter and shorter till the last ten or so fish were caught with no worm at all.

I went to mexico with mexico bas tours and i cought 50 fish and 4 fish over 10 lb back to back and 2 over a 11 lb and about 20 or 30 over 8
