D BEASON,
If it was me, I would put the condos in water that would be in the 18' to 20' depth range at normal pool. How tall are your condos?

sac-a-lait me,
I was gonna try and go this Saturday, but I doubt that I will because of the weather and wind. Maybe next Saturday, but when we get some longer daylight hours which won't be long, I'll be out there two to three times a week. Save me a few. fish

sac-a-lait me,
Yeah, the fish are cool to eat. I've been eating them for the past three years (Marine Creek). Are you actually seeing parasites or some kind of fungal growth? I haven't caught any fish out there with a blemish on them. Are you talking about EM or MC? fish

Oh woops i meant to put it on the MC post haha, but yes the majority were white ball like clusters on the belly fins. One also had a blood pocket on the meaty portion of the back slab. I think it's from hugging the bottom for so long. I know that no fish parasite has been known to make a human sick, so we'll see if they are still on in spring.

Hey, guy's just call the game warden for the county or lake that you are wanting to sink in and they will tell you right then if it is o.k.. Also ya'll need to refer to it as "creating fish habitat" they like to hear it put that way.GoodLuck CrappieMaster

Clyde,
Mine are about 6' tall. When the lake is full (649.1 MSL) they are set in about 22' of water, which gives you about 16' of water to the tops. If the lake drops 10' there's still 6' of "swimming" water above them.
You have to set them deep enough so as not to create a swimming/skiing hazard.

Mark,
I've only caught a few on the condos. I apparently picked a bad location. However, I've only fished them four or five times.
They should be biting off the breakwaters on the upper end. I haven't had time to check.

I haven't been to EM in years, like 15-20 yrs, since my buddy in high school and I would go out there and namely bass fish in the morning on his Skeeter. Of course, I don't go there hardly at all, though i'm right off 820/35W in Keller, just because it's namely private property and if ya don't have a ride(boat), well, then yer' screwed!
