He likes to fish as much as he does to hunt.

Actually we are hunting also, you can see my shotgun behind me in the chair.

I have blue cats, channel cats, bass and perch. Most of the perch are gone, bass ate'em, birds got'em, we caught'e etc.

I'm in the process of catching as many cats as possible and going to restock with bass and perch and see if that works better for retaining the bass, most of the bass are gone as well, only put in a few bass, 50 I think. The catfish are big now, the blues are about 6-7lb's and the channel are 4-5lb's

you need to work on your seating arrangements...

sit in chair
place ice chest next to you..

this makes it much easier than having to stand up to grab your beverage of choice.

the dog looks like he is ready to spring into action
when my son was pretty young- he liked catfishing my dad's stock tank during dove season- used dove hearts
nice setup ya got there

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

yeah, I used dove hearts the other day. Me and a buddy were out thre fishing and hunting and we shot a couple and I used the hearts, didn't catch anything but thought it was cool.

It is like heaven, get home from work, change clothes, fill the ice chest, grap the gun and fishing tackle and drive down to the tank in Gator, it is really sweet. Sometimes I don't appreciate enough.

That's the life. Your dog looks like it's itching for some action.

Nice set up you got there! thumb Now you know there is the dilemma of what to do when a fish get on the line and a flock of doves fly over at exactly the same time, what do you do? Grab the gun first or grab the rod first?

Nice setup, makes for a rough day I bet smile

All the things I've seen lately with guys and their personal stock tank brings back a lot of childhood memories of my first time fishing. It was on a stock tank in poolville that had been stocked with bass and catfish and who knows what else. We whacked em ALL day long it was crazy and got me hooked for life. Too bad I've never been able to repeat the bite we had that day!
