Hi all
Just wanted to report that me and a friend had one heck of a time today on GV !Got there at sunrise launched at Meadowmere.Black bass fished for 1 hour just 1 fish landed on a worm rig off a rocky point.

Went just outside the no wake zone of meadowmere and the birds were working.While trolling a deep diver/spinner rig I caught 1 nice Crappie and 3 smallish white bass 1 legal white and 1 small blue cat.

Left went up to the Damn bubbles.At 10 am all hell broke loose and me and a friend boated 30 white bass in 30 to 40 min. ! One of them being the largest white I have caught in this state. I am ashamed to say I didn't measure her or weigh her. Jeez she pulled. Thought she would break me off .Had to run to the back of the boat and keep her out of the prop. Man what a pole bender she was!

My heart pounded for at least an hour after the run !
Spent a couple hours more trying to recreate the magic but it was done for the day. Wow that was awesome !

PS I met a TFF member on the ramp while leaving.It was Night-fisherman.What a pleasant guy he had one of the most brutal looking flat bottom boats I have see boasting 150hp it was a beast !Here the big fish of the day is and as always the pictures don't do her justice !After the photo I set her free to spawn again.All fish were released

Good luck to you! Me and the CFO [Wife] went this am. On the lake at 8am bright blue bird skies no Sandies caught.

But we managed 5 channel cats.Wife hooked the big fish of the day probably 2 to 2 1/2lb channel.Great time out with her off the water at 1pm.
