 Trolling motor tranducer wire routing??

I just got a new transducer for my trolling motor.(originally skimmer now a puck). Anyhow, the cable is quite a bit shorter and it can't be routed along the cables like the old one (motoguide tour trolling motor). How do you guys route your cable? any pics? thanks,
