That lake should be getting pretty nasty about this time. All the wind will churn it up. Just look for fish tight to cover or look for the cleanest water you can find. No clue where the fish are though!

a caught a few out there last sunday...first time to the lake..this place is great for tips...marina....any grass...caught one 10ft deep...caught the rest in about 3ft....id go for the coves with wood and docks...

i am fishing the ignition bass championship out there this weekend.. can anyone give me thier brushpile coord's???

(just kiddin, we didnt qualify, we skipped a couple tournies) smile

Two of us fished Tawakoni hard all day last Saturday with middling results: maybe 10 fish between us w/ the largest 2-2.5 lbs. Fished boat docks mostly. Caught several on spinner baits and cranks and others on soft plastics. Some really shallow 1-3 feet, others at the end of docks in 4-6 feet. Couldn't figure out a consistent pattern. Seemed to be all over the map.

if the water is stable enough clarity wise id go fish up in tallman by the dam. In my experience Cedar cove has the clearest water when the lake gets muddied up. I would go throw a chatterbait flip a tex rigged junebug baby brush hog around bushes stumps and grass. if the water is clear enough then squarebill crankbaits around docks and a green pumpkin smallie beaver with a light weight flipped around stumps in tall man wink
