I know some of you guys are slowing down on your angling for the year and a few of you are gearing up to harvest that buck of a lifetime. But those of you that are not mad at the deer and ducks and want a chance to fish solo for a series, or bring that Jr. Angler or Anglers of yours who get left home with Mom when your fishing your team tournaments with your regular team partner. We have a plan for you!
We have scheduled eight monthly tournaments through the fall,winter and spring on Lake Fork out of the Minnow Bucket Marina.
Our season opener is less than 2 weeks away on September 27, 2009.
Our championship will be on Lake Fork in June.
Entry fee kept at a low $80 which includes BB, big bass pays back a minimum of $80 regardless of entries.
Paying back 90% Overall with 84% Paid at the ramp. 6% transferred to the championship fund.
Paying back 1 in 6 entries.
Fish at least 4 of the 8 events to qualify for the championship which will have a $120 entry including BB.
We will run random polygraphs throughout the series to maintain the integrity of the event.
Trailering allowed on a per tournament basis depending on wind speeds and low temperatures. Safety is still a priority. Especially with our Jr. Anglers.
Jr. Anglers 16 and under fish for free and are not required to pay a membership fee. They will compete for a gift card and plaque with a one fish weigh in.
Livewell checks for all boats at all events.
We have attracted some of the best fishermen in North Texas and are looking to attract more to our events, it is a great place to get your youngsters involved and an opportunity to fellowship with other anglers and pick up some pointers.
During some of the afternoon weigh-ins we will have some venison chili (if the deer participate) and fellowship with brief devotions from area pastors and guides. We will also get some of the guides to come in and share some of their expertise and techniques.
Our goal is to make this a fun event, with friendly competition and fellowship with other anglers.

I am looking for local guides, pro's, manufacturers reps in the fishing related industry and/or pro staff that would like to attend the weigh ins of these events and share their expertise, techniques and time with our anglers.

I would like to have someone for each event that could help anglers with those little pointers that make a difference. And then have a Q and A session. Something short and informative to fill in a little time at weigh-in.

We also welcome any of you above mentioned guides, pro-staff, manufacturers reps and pros to share your personal testimony if you are comfortable with that.

We will also have brief testimonies and devotions from some of the staff and pastors from Lake Fork Baptist Church on occasion.

Just a reminder cut off for mail in registration must be postmarked by Monday September 21st for this first event.
