OK, so im completely new to surf fishing. I read a post about surfside beach mentioning this. Can someone explain to me what this is and how to you get out to it or know when you get there?

 The "caught here" was use to show another fisherman where I caught some fish.

Excellent. Thanks for the diagram. I didnt see waves since I was on the bay side, but we did go 'down', then 'up'...
