The knocl off Comet is 2 for $1 at Dollar General. Works great and 2 cans will last me a couple months. Trust me, for the diamond grooved/checkered floor it is the absolute best cleaner there is.

We will mix simple green and oxyclean - this works great.

All the cleaning advice above is sound and I agree. I'll add this. I keep a small mop on board for when I get blood or mud in the boat. I just dunk it in the lake and wipe it away. It knocks a ton of work later out of the way if you'll just hit it when it's fresh.

Very simple solution. Throw away all of your slabs and start fishing exclusively with live bait. A thick build up of shad scales will give your deck the appearance of a small, tight aggregate granite from the pearlstone family. This will increase your pounds of fish to time on the water ratio as well as raise the value of your boat. Truly a win win situation. No charge for the tip this time, good luck.

Down here in Pensacola we mix bleach and a car washing soap such as Blue Coral, Meguires, etc that has wax in it. The wax residue will keep blood, guts, and other grime from sticking and staining to the boat. After a few cleanings with the wax/soap, it takes much less effort to clean the nasty stuff of the deck and sides because it can't stick to the wax coating.
Grew up on Tawakoni and Texoma before hybrids and stripers existed on either.

Why bother cleaning when it's gonna get bloody again in a couple days? I immediately thought of you when I saw this post! Wanna know Zeek's secret formula for cleaning a center console? 1)Fish from it for an entire year 2)Clean it 3)Fish from it for another year 4)Clean it again 5)Repeat Blood and guts adds character to a fishing boat. My theory is that I can get it just as clean after 6 months of dirt, blood and slime as I could if I cleaned it every week.

I found the best thing to do is keep the fish blood and poop, mud, etc from drying too long on my white boat. When that stuff dries it is too difficult to clean. I put a deck brush in the boat and used a 5 gallon bucket and would wash it out before trailering. Then I added a raw water washdown T'd off from the livewell intake and it works good with the deck brush. Once or twice a year I spray some bleach and power wash for the showroom clean look.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he has to buy rods, aluminum reels, monofilament lines, nets, tackle boxes, lures, spinners, worm rigs, slip sinkers, offset hooks, gore-tex hats, polarized sunglasses, fish finders, depth sounders, radar, boats, trailers, global positioning systems, coolers, six packs...

I have been using soft scrub on my deck with a medium deck brush. Works fairly well.

I have tried making the guys that go fishing with me buy deck shoes. That really helps keep the deck from getting so scuffed up to begin with.
