lol , i just saw that lake yesterday somewhere on a link and was wondering where it was. i've never heard of it before but i'm new to the area .
It's eaiser to ask for forgivness, than to beg for permission! PB red 7 lbs. PB blue 21 lbs. PB yellow 4 lbs. PB channel 6 lbs PB common carp 15.7 lbs (Lake Mckeeney record)

when I was a kid I think I remember my dad telling me that mitchell lake was just like sewer water or contaminated or something. I know I remember there was a BIG chemical spill in the late 70's early 80's off the railroad just West of Mitchell lake. Seems now its a wildlife sanctuary or something? Watchout for Gators & Rattlesnakes............... Rob

no fishing..... I believe its just for sight seeing and bird watching.....
