Grapevine Saturday morning, we are gonna try our best. I think shallw would be goo with the inflow of water but gonna go for the gusto. It only takes one.

Wen't to G.V. this afternoon with my brother in law. Got bait at the bubbles drifted in front of the damn . Not the first bite. Caught 8 whites trolling and lost 4 at the boat. Caught a black at the bubbles on a white rooster tail.
Stayed 3 hours had a great time out. Whould have loved to caught some cats ! Loved the overcast skies !Johnathan

No pics or anything. We caught about 12 or 15 up to about 5 pounds i think. few more weeks and it should really turn on.

After we got home my son get really sick so I was tending to a 8yr old boy that had it coming out of both ends. Not a fun time. He is back at his mommies now.

I hear ya, been there done that. My nine year old was feeling bad over Labor Day weekend and she missed school. Atleast you caught some fish though.

I felt like I was in a good spot but the dang mosquitoes were killing me  I must have sat down right on top of the nest just before light. I couldn't stay to see if the bite would pick up so I had to leave. Bugs were killing me. Never got anything at the other spots. I had to be off the water by 10a:( Riverrat, I think I may have passed you outside Medowmere at 10.
