One of the 1st times crappie fishing this past weekend a buddy (bwhatley) and myself lost track of how many crappie he had in the boat and weren't exacty sure how many we had. Most of the time it doesnt matter as we wont have anywhere close to a limit, but it looks like we filled a few gallon bags up this past weekend.

What do you guy/gals use to keep track of them? My dad used to have some sort of ticker that everytime we caught one you hit the button and let it add up. I would guess it goes to 999. I have no clue as to what the name of it would be. The easiest solution it to not forget but when it comes down to it, it sure would be nice to know if we could keep fishing.

Thanks for you help...
BK

They are called Tally Counters and one should be able to find them at Wallmart or similar. Office Depot has them as well.

I've got two because they only go up to 9999 and then you have to start over.

The first one is for 1-9999 and the second one is to count how many roll overs I've had. rolleyes laugh
