After reading all of the posts about shallow water Crappie and after growing up fishing for Crappie in creeks this time of year in north end of Hubbard decided to go to old stomping grounds and relive the past. Well, my son and I got there around 8, has surroundings ever changed, houses and more houses everywhere, but creek still there, but with lake about 3 feet low, not much water. Fished for 45 minutes or so in muiddy water no more than 16 inches deep, but nary a bite. Oh well, guess I'll wait for more water.

So $50 each, assuming you get six? If so, count me in if you need to round out a half dozen!

ERNEST

I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS TYPE OF TRIP, HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN TO BUCK CREEK - WOULD LIKE TO VISIT OTHER PLACES. WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS IF YOU WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE BESIDES BUCK CREEK I WOULD LIKE TO GO.
ACTUALLY I COULD GO THIS SATURDAY IF THAT WORKS FOR EVERYBODY ELSE - WEATHER REPORT LOOKS GOOD FOR THEN ALSO.

I want to go, as well, if we can find a date that will work. This Saturday won't.

Wishin' here, my wife is about to have our baby any day now and feel I better wait until spring to get a trip booked with Ernest. I was hoping I could get away with going this Saturday morning, but I need to be close to home and RR / Buck Creek is an Hour drive from Buck Creek Boat Ramp. I will have to try and feel my wife out b/4 I can commit to a date. I appreciate the offer Ernest greatly, but will have to go another time. I figured I better take care of more important things right now (wife) in order to go another time when she can enjoy catching Mr. Elusive Crappie.

Hey Ernest,

My wife and I would be interested. We attended your seminar in Grapevine and have not had a chance to put any of the great info to work. This would be a nice time for that.

You ask for a guide, one replies then you get cold feet. You don't want to fish, you want to read about it. Maybe you will have a Christmas baby and can go next Sat.

WillieFindum here,
I can go for a $50 trip with Ernest. The only Saturday that doesn't work is the 2nd Sat of the month (work morning).
So who is putting this together?

Hey POPPA, easy on the man you were a new dad once. (I would put grins here but haven't figured it out yet)

WishinFishin (new pop - not until spring)
robertwb
papa peck
SpinnerBaker (not this Sat)
Fininator (+ wife)

Go ahead and scratch me off. My schedule is so hectic I probably won't be able to make it and don't want to keep someone else from going.
