The topwater bite has not slowed down in 4 days now, at least when I�ve been out fishing. The first hour is just as good as the last. Fishing just doesn�t get any better than it is right now. I can�t recall the topwater fishing ever being this good every day all day like it has been. You also don�t see many weather systems like this though. I�m sure when the sun comes back out it will slow down the topwater bite but the fish should still be just as aggressive in the deeper water. Today I had 3 people and I know we caught over 100 fish all on topwater. The fish were still going crazy when we finally got tired of catching them around 11:30. The biggest we landed today was about 8lbs but we had another monster break the line when he hit. I sure hope this continues. I have Thursday, Friday, and Sunday available if anyone is interested in getting in on this action.

I passed you on the way out and it was the same deal in the afternoon. And I think you are right, when and if this low pressure system moves away from us and we get some sunny days it will probably be a early morning thing instead of a all day thing, looks like at least 2 more great days coming up then another cool front with a chance of rain next week.

Anywhere on the Texas side. The dam, Highport, or Little Mineral should provide. My boat is at Little Mineral because it is central in the lake. Right now the fish are all over the lake and anywhere you pick should have fish near by.
