I fished that same pond today Auminer...the water is not nearly as clear as it used to be and it made for tough fishing...the wind was blasting too...we still caught around 7 or so....

Take it easy KILLER,
On rainy days most golfers cancel there tee time. If there is a chance for thunderstorms (meaning lightning) the course will close & offer rain vouchers to the golfers scheduled to play that day or push there TEE TIMES back. Everyone should ALWAYS ask for permission anytime since it's the right thing to do. It's likely they will tell you, "We'd prefer you not fish here". The nice NO! So if your gunna fish at least call 2 see if they are open. As a boy, we fished em cause they typically had big hungry fish. It never hurt to have a friend or two working the course. wink

"KILLER"? I don't think I asked the question in an offensive way and it was just a simple question - sorry if I came off as anything other than friendly and thanks for the info you provided, all the same. BTW, now that I think of it I used to have a couple of pals that worked at golf courses, unfortunately that was back when I had no interest in fishing.

Been there done that, no thanks.LOL I was about five or six at the time when two twisters rolled across Possum Kingdom with four of us in a bass boat watching them go by. Barely made it to shore when the waves crashing over the sides sank the boat right off the bank. I don't remember being too scared at the time, my Dad was covering me but I remember watching our poles, that were lying in the bottom of the boat, getting covered by water. Ever since then when BAD weather approaches I head to the house!

I always catch fish in the rain all the time. It even better after a few day of rainning.

The small twister that went around flower mound area couple months ago. Me and JZ and boosted03 were fishing the vine right across the lake and watched the storm roll in, got trapped on the way out by falling trees and 90 mile an hour winds.
