Me and my dad fished Credar Creek this morning. Put in at 274 and King Creek.
We only caught five crappie with two being keepers. Also caught a really big drum. The fish that were really biting were the channel cats. We caught a lot of channels. They were up shallow up against the bank and in the laydowns instead of the crappie..lol
So instead of fried crappie we are haing fried catfish.
All fish were caught on 1/16 oz red/chatruese jigs. About half with bobber and the other on jigging rods.

I feel ya. Crappie just weren't "on" today, but hey, if it's catfish, bass, or sandies, go for what works for ya I say. Good job.

Don't feel too bad, my son & I fished this morning and only caught 14. Some days they just decide not to bite.

Yeah, we heard you folks were having a tough go too, Ernest. Too bad Kyle and I couldn't have met you, but we ribbed Guy a good bit. Guy was very animated and had nothing but good things to say about ya.

We were there when you hollered at him on the cell phone. He told us about y'alls call and your rough luck as well. Way it goes I guess. who_knows

--Eric (oh gosh, another post by BigCat...inside rub on Guy). laugh
