Went out yesterday and looked at Rhodes and Clear lake.
The hydrilla is under water at this point just a couple of inches, but that was at 1 pm yesterday. they are coming up but not as far as they need to.

Went out to Dan's pond tonight. No yak. Just bankin it. Caught a few back in the creek channel. Hopefully will get out to Clear Lake this weekend. Sure am grateful that the grasslands are so close and I can get up there as often as I do.

It' Ok. Doesn't seem like it's changed much the past few weeks one way or the other. Dan's wasn't as low as I thought it might be. Can't use the boat ramp at Clear Lake but that's been that way since July. Haven't been up to Rhodes or Black Creek recently but may have the chance tomorrow.

That's a tough place for me to fish. Thems are some smart sob's or something. However I think the record for largemouth is over 12 pounds which is bigger that Bridgeport's. Doesn't really matter I can barely catch a dam sunfish there.

That 12 lber was caught in the 80's I think. I fished it once and will never go back. The lake looks fishy, its shallow, waters murky, and I only managed to catch one about the size of my hand.
