I have always thought this was a great looking crankbait for shallower cranking. Well my local walmart has them for like $2. Anyone have good experience with this bait?

I have. Really like it in the spring and late fall. If you find any Glow Pearch colors I highly recommend this color.

My best color in these is "Slick", but they can be extremely hard to tune to run straight.

Great lure, white purple back, mountian dew and yellow blue back are my favorites

ALL Norman lures have become extremely hard to impossible to tune out of the box. An ex Norman user.

For the Thin-N I think the slight sideways action that most say is out of tune is a good thing. This is a shallow bait that gets most bites in the first 6 feet of the retrieve. I like ripping it through shallow mud, stickups and weeds if they are present.

I have entire box full of these, "suicide" is my favorite color. It does take me a while to get them tuned right, very rarely will one come out of the box running perfect. I like to periodically take the whole box of them to the swimming pool and tune them all back up. Sometimes high maintenance, but an awesome crank. I like pulling them through mud then making them roll off of logs. I always replace factory hooks with the gamakatsu ewg hooks and about half the time I put a red hook up front.

I've found if you throw the ones that pull to one side, they are absolutely killer under docks! Specially metal piling docks! Just let em wrap and shoot off. not tellin which ones though! :-)
