With the rain and cooler weather, how will that affect the bass? Is it enough to start their movement to shallower water?

On Whitney, my local lake, they have moved. All the fish I found this weekend were toward the mid to back of creeks.

I was showing a surface temp of 78-79 degrees.

I fished my home lake. . . Grapvine friday morning before the rains and just got back from fishing from 2:00 today!! Friday I established that most fish have moved into Big Creeks and were stacked up on Secondary Points! Today I went out and the fish were deeper into the creeks but the lake had come up 2 1/2ft since friday so they were super shallow!! Thats were the shad were!! So ya. . . i think with the Tropical Low Pressure Front it pushed them back further!! Buzz Bait Bite and Cranking bite was on like fire today!!

IMO. I think they will stay close to their Summer haunts until after the lakes turnover. They may move shallow temporarily with the cooler water but retreat deeper once all water is the same temp. After turnover scatters them I look for the bass to school and start chasing baitfish around the lake before hitting the winter haunts.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.
