That is one tough lake. Took me a while and a guide trip to figure it out. I recommend you buy some spots from Ernest Paty on Lewisville to get your skills up to date before tackling this lake. If you are determined to fish DeVine, like I was, get a guide trip from Scott Solice or Guy Skinner.

You can buy them at the city hall in downtown Grapevine...$75 and it runs 1/1 - 12/1...I am going to buy mine in January for obvious reasons...$75 equals 15 days at $5 each...

$35.00 for seniors(65+) It's 5.00 per person, so if you are an old coot like me and fish with a buddy, you are ahead on the 4th trip

There are fish to be caught in the timber at twin coves right now. Good luck!

Thanx for all the information. I will be looking into each one of them. Since I have all of these new friends with all of this great fishing knowledge I plan on being a top notch fisherman in a short while. I have only been fishing for 40 years so I hope I can get good by the age of 90. Fisher of man first and then fisher of fish.

I got 10 more years past that, Sirjet, and still figuring them out.
Come on over to the Crappie Anglers of Texas meeting tonight to see the real brain trust of the best of the best.
Like they say: "If it's free, it's for me".
Lots of free advice worth every penny.
1900 Hours (7pm) @ Carrollton Library tonight.

Only 2 more meetings and tournys this year.
Oct 6 & Nov 10
Be sure to watch the videos of meetings past, especially the one from Mr. Paty last time.
Good luck on the bowling. I gave up golf, long trips on the Harley and Jeepin' 'cause they just got in the way of tournys this year. Wife said I'm takin' this way too serious, but that's the way I am when I focus on something.
