Choke- Fished with Doyle & Joe monday down at Choke. Found fish on the move at various depths from 3-22ft. Had a great time showing Doyle how we catch these good eating South Texas Blues. Ended morning with 50 fish limit.  Calaveras- John Levi joined me again this month as a two part adventure. Fishin' was red hot as we attempted to fish three poles but couldn't keep them in the water.Ended morning with 25 channels for the fryer.  Canyon Lake- Monte and son Matthew as part of a retrip from a previous rainout. Thought it was gonna happen again. Little drizzle didn't stop Monte from his first yella cat and new PB blue of 8 pds. Highlight of the night was Matthew's 2 gar...I mean his 15.2 blue.  Ended the evening with 18 or 19 fish for total near 100 pounds. Awesome evening on the water for two Iraq vets on 9/11 anniversary.      Fall is in the air which meaning cooler temps...if your wanting a fry or a chance at some big fish,Give me a call and we'll go chase them kitties. Tightlines Cliff

way to go Cliff!!! Man those Canyon blues sure are clean lookin fish. As always awesome stringers & looks like everyone had a GREAT time. I'm gona take a trip out there to Canyon one weekend with the wife this fall for some of them blues & maybe try some downrigging for some stripers. Maybe do some smallmouth fishing too!!!.......................... Rob

Ernie, Yes sir, fishin' is only gonna get better as things cool off.
John, cant wait to take you and the wife out.
Local expert says this summer has been slow, so I can only imagine what the fall will bring..excited is understatement.
Side Note- I hired some folks to do some work for a name issue/IT issue I had and they should be revamping my site as well this week, should be a little better looking than this country boy's computer skills.

Cliff, I did learn alot from you on choke the other day. Had a great time doing it as well. And I have'nt forgotten about the anchors I promised. Joe just left this morning so I'll start thinking about them soon. Anyone wanting a lesson on blues and rigging up for them should call Cliff. He's top notch and talented. Doyle

Doyle, pleasure was mine and thanks again. I'm glad Joe got some fish to take back to El Paso with him.
