Its funny, here in College Station we have a Academy and Gander right next to each other. The Academy parking lot is usually half full or so and Ganders is only filled with their employees. I dont see how they can afford to keep it running???

Gander has a lot of stuff Academy doesn't in the fishing department, so it's nice having an extra store for sales and discounts to me...
Also, I really like Gander's store brand rods.

I dont see how they can afford to keep it running??? Tyler is the same way, Academy & Gander a block apart, academy full all the time, Gander empty all the time...how do they do it ?

Ya I go to gander sometimes for stuff I can't find at academy. Also I like their shorts and they are a great price.

Gander and Academy in Sherman are also off the same exit.. i like going in Gander, but they are rediculously priced
