I fish the river alot and need a good set to tie my throw line to any sugestions

this is what i use when i have nothing to tie to ... i don't weld the spad on the metal bar & i also do not use rebar ... i use smooth bar (sucker rod0 ... rebar is to hard to pull out of the ground ... i also use 10' of PVC & i have one eye screw in the end to tie the line to

Thats pretty cool! Dang.. I thought I was done with river fishing, now I gotta try that. Won't a big cat break the pipe?

On rocky bluffs we find a crack in the rocks and drive in a nail or spike and atach a ruber mule to the nail then the line.
