they are just 9 ft rods with a long handle but i dont know what they are made for . probably for catfishing or surf fishing . but i really like the feel of them i bought one for 5 bucks used and the other lucky luke gave it to me because he didnt want it any longer

one is a mitchell fiber v11 series 8 ft medium and the other is a silstar viper made out of graphite in 9 ft .the second ond is the one i like more

When I looked up the first rod I only found this post lol , and the second rod I could only find a reel made by the same company.

Those must be discontinued.

I'm with Scott, I've got the itch bad right now. I'm gonna try to get out somewhere (I'm thinking Reading) tomorrow weather permitting. I bet those canals have cooled off at least 5 degrees this weekend with all the cooler weather and cool rain.
