Okay. I doubt Joe Pool has ever seen clear water.

Me and my son fished in the rain all morning, caught one fish until the rain let up - then we caught six more once that happened, includeing one channel cat that hit a soft plastic worm near a feeder creek. My feeling while it was raining and we were not catching (about 3 hours) is that the fish had moved deeper than usual.. but that is only my sence of what was going on, either way they weren't turned on during that time. The six more that we caught later on were all from the same place, it was shallow, muddy and at a water inlet area.

Pool had lots of clear water back in the early 90's.

My move would be crankin!!! I would have a square bill 2-4ft runner/ a series 3 strike king crank/ maybe a series 5/ buzz bait/ walk the dog style top water/ and a pop r!! pending on the water slearity would depend on the colors!! I know on the vine I would still probably stick with white w/ maybe a line of chart coming across the body!! that would have been my plan of attack this weekend!! worked out really well fri mornin but it also wasn't rainin like it has been yesturday and today!! I was gonna live or die by that this morning for the 3 Bass but it got reschedualed!! oh ya. . . and you have to have that suspending jerk bait just in case the bite might get a little slow at times!!
