Check the asian markets thats what I've been told. I have a buddy that shops at one all the time and he said they have them. Not sure of the name.

I've also seen them sold at the entrance to Calaveras on the weekends.
I may not always be right but I'm never wrong.

The icehouse/Chevron station on loop 1604 below the dam at Calaveras has them. I manage to catch reds & stripers on a regular basis at Calaveras with shad and tilapia, but have yet to catch much on crawdads. Shad & tilapia are free..with a castnet. Roger

Roger This is funny but true...went to academy to but a trap...set it at Leon creek, medio creek, and catching as few as four. went to the Calaveras lake the other weekend and wound up buying a dozen from the guy there. got some info (plus his #) he's there every weekend, and usually gets there by 6AM. Anyway, went out on the lake, nothing on the craws.

Roger T, where are you fishing at Cali to catch Reds and Stripers. I have yet to catch a striper and I use Tilapia and shad.

You can buy them at a place called the fish market on walzem. It is an asian resturant that also sells live shrimp, crawdads, and other stuff I consider bait...lol
