I have the fishing bug real bad and I was wondering if there was any places to bank fish for crappie on Grapevine or Lewisville.

I have friday off so I need a place to fish!

Thanks in advance.

I have been wanting to fish LL too. I might try my luck wading around the stumps this weekend.

At this time of year, crappie bank fishing can be real tough. Grapevine has nothing to offer in the way of crappie off the bank until spring time (unless you have a slip at one of the marinas). I would suggest that you go to Lewisville and fish the barge.

anthony you need to invest in a float tube for 50 bucks it will catch all the fish you could want this time of the year.

That sounds like fun! I bet that area that you fished a month ago might be a little too deep for waders but you still may be able to catch some.

I plan on using that 12 ft rod CV gave me. That way I can have alot of reach and only need to be in water knee deep or so. thumb

I guess I will try the LL fishing barge tomorrow morning. Something is better than nothing.
