I had posted before that our son has a brain tumor we have fought this thing with everything that we have. We have reached a point where there is nothing that will work so today we have to put him on hospice. I quit dipping on 8/19/09 and today is really going to be a test to see if i can hold strong. I can really feel the urge to start.

Iclass- I don't know how to say this other than- the dipping should be the lowest priority on the list right now. I am sure that your son's tumor causes stress and heartache at the deepest levels and a dip would make it all right, if even for for about 20 minutes. But that is a lie. The truth is, a dip makes nothing better. We all dip because we believe the lie. At least, I know I did.

My heart goes out to you, your son and your family. I will pray daily for your son. Please post his name (first name only is fine) so I can be specific in prayer.

His name is Kevin. He is the main reason i quit.

Sorry to hear about your son man I have a 3 year old and you can only hope things always work out but be strong as you already have and take care of him the dip will not help just get's in the mind game and you loose focus of what's real important take care of your son and yourself you quit for him so keep it for him now all the more reason GOOD LUCK... Prayer on the way buddy.

Kevin would probably want you NOT to do that dip.

My son lost his battle on Oct 1st he put up a long hard fight he was the bravest person i have ever know in my life. I thank God for giving me the honor to be his dad. My boy taught me so many lessons in his short 18 years. He touched so many people in his short life time there where over 1000 people that attended his funeral. I sure miss him everday but i know he is in the arms of the Lord.
