stump jumper, pm me and maybe we can do a combo duck hunt/bass fishing trip. My bass boat is black so maybe it will blend in? lol.

I've always pondered this....for some reason birds avoid camo like the plague, but will buzz a white bass boat.

Like they said above...hunt for 30 mins and then fish.

It's just too much going on fishin, hunting, and drinking cold beer. I can only do two at once....I'm not that good. LOL!

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

Whats the difference in hunting while fishing, or fishing while hunting? Would someone think it was wrong to fish ocasionally while your out duck hunting? As long as you are where you can duck hunt and in season and not blasting ducks unless you are tide up or anchored, who cares? Oh and also, as long as your not somewhere where someone might get sprinkled by some falling shot.

The key issue would be motorized.

Bass fishing the back waters of the Colorado river, doing about 30 in a back slew, I thought they would fly, ho ho, there went 25 decoys. Some mad duck hunters, I was ducking.

all i know is that on most public lakes they have areas set aside for duck hunting. and if i woke up at 4am and headed out across the lake to my duck hunting spot, set up my decoys, built a blind, all of this in the dark mind you just to have some mf'er show up in a yellow and black bass rocket 10min after sunrise shooting at the ducks that im trying to call into range while posted up 80yards from shore......it would be "katy bar the door"time. it might be legal but its not right. its dangerous and unsportsmanlike! now im guilty of haveing a minnow on a cork sitting in a lawn chair next to a stock tank trying to shoot some dove. but im on private land and on the bank. but 99.9% of the time when i hunt i hunt and when in fishing im just fishing! you also have to be so many feet away from private property while duck hunting on public lakes! if you wanna hunt then hunt if the hunting is crappy then go fishing dont try to take pot shots a ducks while they are flying by.

My experience says that most ducks will avoid boats like the plague. Especially boats with bass fishermen sporting brightly colored fishing jerseys.

oh and brandonA if fishing and hunting are about "getting food"? then tell me how many black bass do you take to the fryer in a year ???? hunting and fishing is also a sport not just a means to get food. i have thrown many fish back and went home empty handed and had just as much fun as if i would have caught a limit of crappie! but if you kill it you should do every thing you can to get the game to the table!!!

Fishing is for homosexuals that are afraid of recoil.

Just kidding.

Brandon, I do that all the time at Lake Fork for bass.

When the carp take the bait, I kill them and then just throw em' on the bank.

Because we all know carp are trash.
