I'm planning on taking my father fishing at Palestine the 19th and 20th. We'd like to target largemouth bass, but we also chase whites if the mood hits us. Any information would be appreciated. I'll post results when I get back.

First of all the lake is down about 2 feet, so be careful. A lot of new stumps are now showing up.

I caught a few bass this past weekend drop shoting boat houses in the Saline Bay area. Need to find boat houses with at least 5-6 feet of water under them.

Looked for sandies but did not find any. According to most reports still need some cooler weather for much action.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

The right side of the old road bed just before u go under the bridge in Flat Creek usually hold fish this time of year. locate the where the creek crosses and fish the both sides of the old bridge. I've drifted the road bed when you can catch the wind right w/drop shot and carolina rigs

We had a good day flippin' the docks in the Highsaw Ledbetter area Sunday. Some good spotted bass around the bridge also.
