Nothing finishes off a great day of bowfishing carp, than a few blackened bass filets and a nice tenderloin from a high fenced buck. (That is the trifecta of hot button topics. Only thing missing was talk of opening Squaw Creek) you could have done a lot better. Heck, you didn't even mention waterdogs. Slacker.

This post has my curiosity... You stated you did not eat them... OK folks, just kiddin about eating them. Anybody that knows me knows better. You stated you were not fishing a tournament... It was a lucky 3 or 4 minutes Mike....just wish it would happen in a tourney sometime. You stated you personally caught all 3... I caught 'em on the dam at the bubbles in 12-15ft of water fishing a shakey head aaron martens robo worm. Just curious... why did you have all 3 on the boat at the same time for the pic (nice pic as well) if there was no tournament and they weren't kept to eat? I am not a 'tournament fisherman' by definition, do tournament fisherman keep their legal catches throughout the day outside of a tournament so the bag can be weighed thus trending big bass sizes and bag weights then the bass are released at the end of the day?
My opinion is worth what you paid for it...

Occasionally, I relocate my fish. This is what I was doing, no tournament, no eating, and it took not even 10 minutes by the time I caught the first one and released all three to another spot. Since I caught these fish on back to back to back casts, I thought I'd share the pic with the TFF. I hope this clears your curiosity. Good Fishin, Okie

Interesting concept... so you relocate keepers to an assumed secret spot in hopes they will hold and can be caught during a tournament? Have you had success with this approach (I would assume so if you are doing it)?

Have you had success with this approach (I would assume so if you are doing it)? Yes, it has paid off. As long as I got a guy in the boat that can catch 'em. For me, I've just started learning how to bass fish. Good learnin, Okie

You shouldnt eat these fish. You should release them so they can be beaten around in a live well for a few hours then weighed and released to die at the boat ramp after a tournament. I wish I had eaten that big bass I caught last night. I will from now on. Nice fish BTW eat up. Better us eat them than coons.
